Saturday 16th of September is Icelandic Nature Day, staff at the Lystigarður encourages everyone to go out and see what nature has to offer.
The date was declared on the 70th birthday of Ómar Ragnarsson to honour his efforts toward protecting the Icelandic environment.
The Lystigarður has a good portion of the Icelandic flora on show and will be open for those who wish to spend some time amongst it.
